Though he’s one of the oldest players in the instructional league games in Florida, Tebow’s great first impression at the plate is a good sign the superstar athlete could advance through the Mets’ system at full speed.
Unfortunately, the hot streak didn’t continue for the 255 -pound outfielder, who grounded out in his second at-bat … oh well! That’s still batting. 500!
But since the ex- NFL champ hasn’t been playing ball since his junior year of high school in 2005, we don’t blame for being a little rusty!
